Who we are

White Plains Beautification Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organization encouraging gardens and green spaces throughout the City of White Plains. From the start, our organization has been composed entirely of volunteers who have donated many hours of their time helping make White Plains a beautiful place to live, work and visit. (Read more…)

What we do

We have raised more than $4 million during our 50-year history. This money has funded the development and care of more than 60 gardens, community programs and special gifts to our city. One example is the landmark Triantafillu Fountain at North Broadway and Main Street, funded by donations of many and especially by the Harry D. Triantafillu family. (Read more…)

50th anniversary

Celebrate with us as WPBF turns 50 in 2015!  Community and school events have already started with massive plantings of daffodils to make White Plains a city of gold next spring. Our 50th programs honor our founders and help us rejoice in the beauty around us. New gardens, programs and a special gift to the city are planned, culminating in a celebratory gala in October 2015. (Read more…)
