As gardeners, we think of spring as a time of renewal and rejuvenation, but fall and winter also offer opportunities to re-think, replenish and restore. As we look to the future, we are making the most of these seasons to refresh our website, starting with our “Our Gardens” and “Visit Our Gardens” and a better way to display Events. During this time of renewal, we invite you to take a trip down memory lane here to view our gardens of bygone days. We started modestly with 12 public gardens that has blossomed into more than 70, now offered for sponsorship through our Adopt-a-Park program. Our signature green signs display the individuals, families and businesses that help fund each space. Their generosity makes it possible for us to make White Plains a beautiful place to live, work and visit. Some gardens are still available for sponsorship – an opportunity to support White Plains while leaving a lasting legacy. Inquire here for more information. We engage three White Plains nurseries, Amodio’s Garden Center, Gedney Farms Nursery and Ridgeway Garden Center, to ensure each site flourishes and enhances our community.
