Join us on this morning to celebrate the importance of trees with the Highlands Middle School and its students along with dignitaries from the City of White Plains and the White Plains School District. Trees will be planted honoring two individuals: William Smythe, a much beloved Highlands teacher who spent more than 40 years teaching math in White Plains schools and who passed away in 2018, and local businessman John Iodice, owner of Riemann Auto Body and a lifelong resident of White Plains.
