Each year, WPBF celebrates Arbor Day by planting a tree at one of the city’s schools. This year’s planting will be at Ridgeway Elementary School at 9:30am. The public is welcome. Join us rain or shine. A sugar maple donated anonymously will honor WPBF founder Brian Wallach and his wife Beth, both long-time active members. Pat Laidman of Care of Tress will plant the tree. Children from the school will present a short program. In attendance will be city and school officials.
