White Plains’ Department of Public Works is holding its 2nd annual day of free and interactive fun and information about the fleet of vehicles used by the city. In addition to trucks and equipment from public works, vehicles from the police and fire departments and Trans Care ambulance will be displayed. Visitors will be able to learn about, see, touch, sit in, sound the sirens, honk the horns and even operate some of the equipment.
