Since its inception in 1984, the Adopt-a-Park Program has been the primary source of funding for more than 70 gardens installed and maintained by the White Plains Beautification Foundation. The program relies on the generosity of sponsors and volunteers who make this ongoing work possible.
Each spring, WPBF, along with city and county officials, celebrates Adopt-a-Park Sponsors at an annual Appreciation Breakfast. The 2025 event was held May 8 at Bloomingdale’s La Provence Restaurant, where guests gathered to recognize the volunteers and sponsors whose continued support helps keep White Plains beautiful—one park at a time.
