Congrats to the 2019 Grand Prize winners and finalists of our annual Business Awards! This program was paused during 2020 and 2021 and we plan to resume  in 2022. If you would like to nominate a candidate, please do so by emailing us at info@wpb.org and provide the business address and/or building name as well as the best way to contact you should we have any questions.

In 2019, representatives of the Grand Prize winning locations were invited to our annual Gala as our guests and awarded certificates. Grand Prizes went to One North Broadway, winner in the Major Players category (formerly Corporate/Institutional World); Vintage restaurant in the Local Shining Stars category; and 10 Bank Street @Martine in the Playing to the Crowd category.

One North Broadway Realty that competed in the Office Building category was chosen for the “Living Wall” that parent company Ivy Realty engaged Raimondo Horticultural Group to create in order to make a large commercial bare wall attractive and attention-getting. It may the largest vertical garden in the U.S.

Vintage restaurant at 171 Main Street, which took first place also in the Food and Drink category, was chosen to demonstrate that a local business along a strip of hard surfaces can make just as big a floral impact as a much bigger space when they adorn their face to the public with an abundance of blooms and foliage.

10 Bank Street at Martine, owned by Empire State Realty Trust, that competed in the Colorful Corner category, was chosen to demonstrate that city center commercial buildings can create an oasis in the midst of a concrete jungle by incorporating art and green spaces to make a striking and welcoming environment.
